Where I have been.... :)

I was given a half of day off work a few weeks back...
so, I decided to stop by my favorite fabric store on the way home...

Everytime I have gone in, I have wandered over to look
at this beautiful machine...
This time was no different.

The price alone was enough to send me running from the store.

But that day....

It. was. on. SALE!!!!!

When I left, I called my sweet man.
I asked for a loan.  :)
and he SAID...

!!!!YES!!!!!

So, the following week, he surprised me
and picked it up!

and see that stack of goodness behind the
new machine?

Yep...he brought me that too!

:)

And He hasn't seen me since ....

hehehehehehehe!!!!

  4. Congratulations! What thread are you using and the type of needle? I'm having problems with my thread shredding on my Horizon and am trying to figure out the right combination.

    1. Jojo, I used the needles that came with it and I use the regular sized spools of polyester only thread. My other cotton thread did the same thing...cotton thread works fine in the bobbin, but I use the other for the top stitch. I will look to see what the name of it is and get back to you. Hang in there...it is soooo fun when it all comes together!

    1. The heat has been unbearable, but we haven't been as bad this year as the rest of the country...I feel for you though for SURE! On the machine, it was a floor model that they sold me and it was discounted already and when she saw me looking at it again, she marked it down another 500 dollars! That NEVER happens to me! That gave me the ump to ask Mr Bill!

  8. I have some other things to buy before I buy a new machine. Like a puppy not to replace my Gracie but to be here and greet me and to love, because no puppy could replace Gracie - so that is number one. Number two is I want an iPad - the new 7" one when it comes out. Number 3 is well I quite like this saving thing all of a sudden so you'll just have to wait and see because I will have to want something - maybe another machine because I miss my Janome.
I'm just so happy that you got what you were lusting over.

    1. My sweet friend...I have been praying you find another little puppy and soon! As for the iPad...I have a Samsung and it is just as wonderful without the huge pricetag! But I will add that to my prayers for you! I know losing the other one the way you did is heartbreaking! You know now though I have used up all my present cards from Mr Bill for. Awhile! Lol!
